Default Damage type of Zarkit?

Hi,
I just wondered what type of damage is caused by Zarkits? For me it looks like it is fire. Since a few updates they hit much harder than before. I regularly get hit for 400-700, lol but that's not the matter, I can handle them pretty well right now. I don't want to start a flame against Zarkits. I did tests on Amun with a Ignis conjurer and we got the result that Zarkit and Pet are quite the same (at least against mobs).
My armor is very bad against fire, so I guess this is their damage type. Am I right here?
no flame against their damage, I just want to know what type they cause.

It is fire. You should see the little "lightball" that throws a mob or a mage, and by the colour you can realise what kind of damage it is.

Regards!

You often have to compromise on something with armor, so unless you're being picked on by zarkits very often I doubt you really need a fire resistant armor. Warlocks seem to use more lightning attacks than fire too, or maybe it's just me who gets hit with lightning attacks all the time :P

Word to the wise: If you like to use area attacks, be prepared to face lots of fire from zarkits and all other manner of summons and pets. Areas automatically ag any idle pets/summons to you.

You're really unlucky then - warlocks only have 2 lightning attacks...most of them are actually physical.

Well working calm creature should be good idea. Mixing armor is not a god solution imo you loose armor points often. But pet dealing 450dmg + healing is tough :]

That doesn't seem to work for me.

I can see the different colored balls of light that my character uses in my staff attack, but any others, including allies, just shoot small green projectiles, including Zarkits.

Twix got it right. Without "Particle Effects" you will not notice some effects that regular staff hits have... if you have it activated, you will see some "electicity" and rays when damage is electrical... some "snowflake" in icy damage and of course some kind of "explotion" when damage is fire..
