Playing and Abilities: Barbarian
IC (my Molok knight... his story will hit the Inn in a couple of days):
The Molok Nation has no problems in sharing our war masteries with any one who shows its interest... but do not dare to emulate us, we are the only true warriors of The Land and since young age for the bloodshed we are prepared! I leave you with one possible teachings in which our Berserkers are instructed, but we are an army, where we work to fill each others weaknesses... OoC: Slashing 19 Accurate Swings 5; SC 5; Typhoon 5; else 1. Blunt 19 Brutal Impacts 5; Steel Temper 5; Thunder Strike 5; else 1 Piercing 11 Balestra 3; else 1 Tactics 9 all 1 Two-Handed Mastery 9 all 1 Warcries 19 Frenzy 5; Berserk 5; Overwhelming Strength 5; Onslaught 5; Unstoppable Madness 5. What does it does?... check the images (using caution 3 instead of balestra 3). When it wont work: when you have ping, when there are no support conjurers (or when they don't know what you can do and what you need to do it), when you pvp a good marksmen, when Ignis behaves like Syrtis...

I haven't developed the setup I've shown so here it goes: Berserker mentality: no niceties, you don't chit chat with you adversaries, you kill them... quickly. Pre-buffing: Accurate Swings, Brutal Impact, Agile Maneuver (you hit harder... and that makes all the difference!), Frenzy (always on), Colossus (when supported by conjurer), Berserk (when you make eye contact), Unstoppable Madness (does it cost much? yes! is it really necessary? yes!... for everything but item farming and kicking other *noob* warriors butt), Caution (not really, but... why not?!), Off-their Heads (all little things to add are good!). Allies-Buffs: Material Wall is a must! DI kicks ass! Anything that a charging knight can put on you will make your barbarian the right hand of doom! Standard enchantments for warrior support will make you go from nuke to hydrogen bomb and there's no bigger adrenaline thrill then timed onslaughts among barbarians! Last but not least... Heal Ally and Mana Communion!!! 3 in a row!!! Tactical Play, a couple of hints: you have both areas for a reason (even though the log shown above doesn't make much faith in the player intelligence), you use and abuse Deafening Roar, in war always have Unstoppable on you (at least while you are alive!), after you land a successful SC you have to stop him, either balestra or ribs breaker, because 95% of RO population will run away from you after it. Marksmen are a real threat (specially if his name is mahoney and you are doing pvp), good and wise knights too (use the hammer), Hunters are greedy and think that are overpowered... too bad for them, Knarbs are laughable (they hit you for 900 sc... your normal hit does more!), Warconjus will die just as easily as support ones (specially when they don't notice your 1st hit in time), warlocks rely on stopping you but you are "unstoppable"... good barbs will try to do the same, be smarter! Never forget Berserker's lemma: one hit, one kill. You don't use 1 weapon... you use one for each situation (currently 3 slashing, from medium to vslow; 2 bludgeoning: medium and vslow; 1 piercing vslow). Use your improved stat stuff wisely, and have them ready for each situation, the difference between dying from a tear apart or a knight charge sometimes relies in switching 2 pieces of armor and a weapon even if they aren't lvl 50. Don't be greedy with stat stuff, this is a realm war, not a beauty contest. Final Note: I'm not isak, but sometimes I play with the char. Just to clear stuff up lets say we have nice RO conversations at the dinner table and teasing remarks about each one abilities between university classes.

Jaw Breaker has a good dizzy rate, second only to Meteor and MoD.

i'm not too sure about this build...
you've got a good setup, as far as skillbooks are concerned, but i would invest individual skillpoints in other areas. -jawbreaker, simply put, rawks. not increasing it seems like a sin to me. -and you've got mind squasher, so why not swap some of the points out of unstoppable madness (also make it a bit more economical from a mana standpoint) and be able to take on knights w/ AoO or conju's w/ steelskin. -also, no points in spring? i can appreciate that you are going for max dps, but in general, this build seems too light on support and crowd control skills for me. |
