questions about the game

Im considering having a go at this game and was wondering if there are usually a lot of english(or english speaking) players because iv heared that most players dont speak english. Are there diff servers/races? will any particular one be good for an english player?

Thanks, im looking forward to trying the linux client

Welcome to Regnum. The majority of the community is spanish, but as you may have already noticed there's a decent size english speaking community as well. I'd have to refer you to the english clan registry http://www.regnumonline.com.ar/forum...=english+clans
I'd recommend joining a clan in your realm. Not only will they help you figure out the game, but it's always nice to have some guys to talk to while you're grinding. As far as realms go, just pick the one that looks the best to you. If you find yourself in Alsius don't hesistate to give me a /chat x Aric x

Thanks ill check it out and I will try to get on that realm, i'm just having some trouble getting the game to install under Ubuntu 8.04 Beta (linux) Im just downloading the windows client to try and go with that method using wine.

It's working really nice on my Debian Lenny. You shouldn't have so much trouble with the native client on Ubuntu.

I must warn you the new 169 driver that 8.04 uses stock has some issues. You might want to consider using an older driver. I use the 100.14.19 I find it has the best performance.

I have the game running very well in wine, no issues iv noticed so ill just play that way for now. Im only on 8.04 cause this is my mess around pc

The laptop is the important must be stable machine (but its ati :@) cant play any games on it though.

Just started on Alsius gonna have a play about with differnt ones but I think ill play an archer class.
