The spell is successful casted on you, but the effect is not working.

Sathilda, what part of "absolute" don't you understand .
We're criticizing *absolute* resists, as in *net resists*, as in "int and spell focus" are not part of the equation (aka game formulae) with Protection Dome, Deflecting Barrier, Dodge, Precise Block and Spell Eludes. If they were relative (ie only modifying the basic attributes), then int would be weighted against it. What you are showing is just screenshots of areas when there's no dome or deflecting barrier (there's barrier on one, but at a low level -- or an unlucky barrier/dome for them, lucky for you). It's true that more int allows you to go through the "natural resists/evades/blocks layers", which I *do* think are too high (even for a Warlock), but that's not the main problem we're criticizing, we're criticizing the absolute layers first and foremost. I can also screenshot my terrors I guarantee they can work; I even tank with warriors right in the middle of the group to get to melee range and make deflecting barrier useless and make sure my terror will work. Btw, Thanus said that the balance team is working to make absolute resists/evades/blocks relative soon, so then spell focus and int will finally help (at what level I don't know). PS: screenshot taken with a char with more than 100 int too EDIT: On a game design note, I don't see why a spell-dependent class should need 124 int to have its spells work... evades/resists should be an occasional event which allows to reverse the fight, if it happens every 5secs it's stupid game design imho; there are other tools to protect yourself, it has always been a Warlock or Marksman's work to dizzy incoming Warlocks about to Terror (and better, cancel their terrors)... I'd rather have it the old way without Wind Wall too.

Yoseba is the proof that some i-play-my-class-at-100%-of-what-it-should-be setups and new content added give unexpected results ! |
