RP's seem pretty useless to me; particularly for people who haven't played for long because they have virtually no chance to get onto the Champion's leaderboard, which seems to be the only incentive for getting them.
Would it not be better to have a seperate monthly or weekly RP's leaderboard (reset each week/month)? Maybe there could be an item as prize for the winner, or even just a congratulations for the top 3, or whatever.
This would even the playing field for old and new players alike, giving some incentive for all to want to obtain RP's, and also gain a little glory for themselves, their clan or their realm.

RPs *are* useless, it's just a ranking of time spent fighting/warring with a character. The incentive to kill is the joy it brings to drink the blood of the pesky elves, dance on their dead bodies, cheer over their lack of skill, etc. I tell you it's more than enough .

On the separate ranking idea, it has been brought up many times already. I personally think Rps should be removed altogether. The ranking could be kept for historic reasons.

i resently made a new char and for some reason i got the tutorial thing for rps when i first died o0

it says in the description that they allow for greater beifits

they clearly dont i suggest wepons/armour available only to lvl 45+ that can only be purchased with X regnum points depending on your class?

Prizes that influence war depending on Regnum Points are a very bad idea. However good ideas could be cloaks (or similar, if it ever works out) or ability for premium users to have war steeds instead of light horses, etc. But nothing that can influence the outcome of a fight. The game is already item-based enough as it is.

Do not make RP act as currency for anything.
That would gain the people with much RP and make it even harder for a low ranked player to reach higher.

I like the ideas of things happening depending on your current RP, like ranks ex. "Znurre the bold", etc.

RP itself, even if it's only a ranking, is reward enough for me.
To see the RP flowing after an area attack makes you happy in some way and give you as much adrenaline kick as if you kill a really hard enemy in an 1vs1.

Ofcourse we have the people that does everything for RP, use a setup that's helping them to gain alot of RP but not much more for example.

I have seen a Knight that use all his auras even if 70% of them are broken/useless and he earns alot of RP...

well guess im with u realy i dont want people camping wz spots more than allready PERSONALY i think that if a player is unchallangeing or unranked then you should only get 1 maybe 0 RPS to stop noob camping...

This has also been discussed in the past.

What if a unranked player attacks a lvl 50?
Shouldn't the lvl 50 player get anything for killing him then?

And what about the fort wars?
Low-lvls can do pretty much impact there together with a higher lvl, shouldn't I get anything for defeating him?

The freedom of the PvP is the best thing in this game, you can hunt (how much I even hate it) and you can do fort wars, and you can hunt/do fort wars in many different ways.

well i would even say go for it RPS FTW!!!!!!!! u never know if they are going to make a prize and ppl will stop playing eventualy. NGD said they are coming up with ideas for it get them u help your realm and clan aloot.

i personaly disgree, even if they are a noob you should get RP if not noobs will go unignored in fort wars and 3lvl 30s are treatnings for 2 lvl50s since it can cost 1 of their lives.

now with what nzurre said yea thats cool and why i warju to see the flow of rps, now i ditched zarkit for tremmor and sultar as an experiment if u guys want more ill detail latter; well going on as a suport conju its wierd and funny seeing random 1s of rps coming and then at the end i actualy made over 100rps! tho my buffs and heals are cheap and i dont got a zarkit running around which leaves me woried i do make more rps dought its boring but when i advance i actualy see ppl getting ready because they know whats coming and im still feared on 1on1 dought now as use full.

ok i got of topic with the nzure thing but i agree that rps fuel killing even wrongly.
