Loading screen crashes and lag

Whenever i get to the loading screens that are blue with Regnum written in the middle, sometimes itll end up basically freezing my entire computer and then it crashes. i also get huge amounts of lag quite a lot as well... Yet my computer more than matches the requirements. Does anyone know why?

Radeon 9600 G series video card

1.25GB of ram

Pentium 4 Processor

Windows XP

Did you try entering in "Safe mode"?

You can choose it in the options menu inside the launcher.

It seems to be working a bit better now but if it begins to revert to how it used to be i shall try the safe mode thanks

also in the loading screen when the logo and the storie comes press esc to skip it so your cpu can load better.....tell me if it works?
