yep, it was a good choice then, even tough you made this cyclops agro. The quite high damage results from sudden strike and weak lvl 50 marksman armor against lightning damage

Block, block, block, block, block, block, block, block, block..............2 whole pages worth. Against a "Very easy" knight.
Very easy to run away from, sure. Very easy to hit? How about almost impossible. I basically kept running these two around ignis for 20 minutes taking pot shots at the knight to see if i could possibly do any actual significant damage. Answer: No. |

Seriously, Val, i know it's annoying when a knight blocks so much, but it must be equally as annoying for them when we hunters stay out ot their range by using our speed. We can't land many hits on them because of their blocks. They can't land many hits on us because we are faster. That's just the way it is. If you take away a knight's blocks, it would only be fair to take away our speed. I try my best to avoid 1v1 encounters with knights, as it often ends leads to stalemate... |

Had you take a look at experimetal ? all the evasion will be canceled with concetration. We should go and and take a look of these.
Because in a few week will be discussin "the damm truth about concetration" Lets hope they dont go to the other way. I will had to take out all my evasion out and try from the shadows some more ofesinves atacks. Regards |

well, even 1000 points pf concentration won't cancel any absolute chance spell like spell elude, dodge, wind wall, precise block, protection dome and deflecting barrier. Also you won't cancel mind blank or unstoppable madness just because you have more concentration. A fixed % of evades/resists/blocks will be a fixed number, no matter how high conc is.
So only base evasion/resist/block chance will be decreased a bit.

So from what i gather from the pevious 2 posts, concentration is at last going to be worth having?
And to be clear, it cancels only base evasion rates, not evasion caused by defensive evasion spells?.. |

Is not very clear where will concetration go against .
If evasion is a percentege of base evasion, so should go concetration giving you more chances to hit somebody (skill or normal, not sure about that) . So yes seems to be that it will care if you have lot of concetration or not, to get somebody with lot of evasion. |

as far as I know conc increases hit chance, critical hit chance and spell focus.
Evasion*100/hitchance=evade chance and Spell resist factor (whatever it is)*100/spell focus=resist chance that means when you have more conc you have higher chance to get a base attack and a spell on someone. Conc even now increases hit chance, critical hit chance and spell focus, but after next patch conc will increase it more than now. But against spells which create a second absolute evade/resist/block layer it won't work since this layer is not affected by sit chance or spell focus. When you cast dodge you create an evade layer that gives you a 25% chance to evade a hit. No matter how high you base evasion is and no matter how high conc of attacker is. Additionaly to this created evade layer from dodge you have normal character evade layer. This layer depends on characters evasion and on attackers hit chance/spell focus. Hope that helps. This is how I think it works
