Restarting computer.

I'm new to the game (Started yesterday) So I start my first character spoke to this person with "!" Above them and boom computer restarts and goes all crazy with errors. I get pop ups about Buffer problems and serious error reports. Is there anything that I can do? I've tried over 7 times to get it working I'm going to try and reinstall it.
