Default another soundproblem

hi i am a lvl 19 hunter from alsius

i have installed the linux launcher and wonder how good its being running

but one litle problem i have

i can not have sound in regnum

i use the debian etch rc

i have installed the packages libopenal-dev and libopenal0a

i also have created the file .openalrc in my home with the content (define devices '(native))

on starting the launcher binary i have a warning on my console "can not open /dev/[sound/]dsp" no such file or directory

what is this for a funny path?

my dsp is located at /dev/.static/dev/dsp

so is there a solution specialy a file where i can edit the path to the devicefile?

thanks for helping and sorry for my bad english

try creating an empty data /dev/dsp and make a symbolic link to your dsp

but i guess /dev/dsp or /dev/sound/dsp is the usual device....
