Question for the wiki. Confuse and Darkness

We are working on game mechanics, and it came to me the question about if the effects of Darkness and Confuse are the same.

"Cannot be affected by positive powers"

"Can only use offensive powers"

Are these the same? What spells can be used in one and not the other.

EDIT: Just noted that darkness wont allow others to affect the target with buffs, while someone confused can be buffed.

Still, I'd like to know if they forfeit the same powers.

It's not the same effect. Under darkness you cannot be healed. Confuse can be dispelled and/or you can be healed.

After for fighting:
Confuse blocks all non dmging power and skill. So you can't use non dmging debuff like death sentence, ambush, disable limb. You can't use buff obviously they do'nt deal dmg. However you can use Ethereal Arrow, Vampirism, or Soulkeeper (weird effect to me).

Darkness blocks only buff I'd say gotta test it to be sure but I think it blocks only the buffs..

Ok. So confuse also blocks the use of debuffs while darkness doesn't. Great, just needed to be sure they are different before preparing the mechanics articles. Thanks!
