There is something i don't get it.... did You expected that Horus will be full of mature, nice and friendly guys? It is Internet, RO is MMO so it was obvious that one day someone will offend you. They do it in spanish, english, polish, german on RA, they will in english, czech, russian, german, on Horus.

Ignore those who should be ignored. Find nice clan. Cooperate with nice ppl and have fun. I do that on Ra and i do that on Horus.

I agree with Fluff. Don't be discouraged by a few noobs. They do not represent the entire server.

I think the problem is that because Horus has a much smaller population than Ra, the idiots are 'louder'.

Sure, every server has its share of idiots. But from what i've seen, Horus has MORE than its fair share.

I've been contacted by some more mature players from Horus who sympathise and who seem keen to do what they can to stamp out the unpleasantness.

I strongly advise, for the good of Alsius Horus and for the good of the Horus server, that the more mature-minded people on there work together to try and make it a more pleasant place to enjoy gaming.

I do not know what the problem was exactly, but in my opinion the relationships between the players on Horus Alsius are really nice, people are friendly, there is very little childish flame and altogether I enjoy the existence of the realm chat and the friendly people very much.

Maybe you should
a) try some more days here and see how they are like or
b) get a thicker skin

and don't let you scare away from one or two players.

I think it is an imporant point you're making here, Wudy. From what I've seen, there are certain individuals that tend to be a bit... let me use the word "immature". But also, I've found this:

When a group of players (not just a single spammer, that is) speak in realm-chat, it's usually only the people involved in the discussion that is speaking - except from single "where is..?" comments. Also, those "immature" people who are spamming chat seems to be more quiet when a serious and friendly discussion take place. Ignore "trolls" and other unpleasant players, and continue your discussion without taking notice to their comments (thus, drowning the other people).
If the above fails - ignore realm chat fully for a while, and wait for the storm to fade out, then try to "reclaim" realm chat with a serious topic a little while later.

Worst case scenario: /ignore entire realm

This whole "everybodys rude" thing is BULLSHIT!

Its the same on RA, Muspell and Niflheim... but the thing on RA is, you dont understand it... IF you would speak spanish normally, youd say the same thing about RA too...

I logged on RA today, said Holas, but NOBODY answered... not very nice neither, or?
