Last update status, official announcement.

Hello everyone,

As you know, the new site and game version 1.0.5 were released yesterday, April the 7th.
With this new update came several changes and with them came along some issues that we were prompt to check out.

We already fixed a few:

Client crash

The fix for the unexpected client crash is already available. You will get the patch automatically when login into the game.

Slow resource downloading rate

We have been working against the clock to incorporate a new resource downloading server. It's already available so you should have no major issues when updating from now on.

Server memory leak

We have detected a server memory leak that was provoking a server crash after a few hours. The fix to this situation is already live, granting an extended and normal uptime.

Revive pet

Revive pet now works as expected.

Problems that we are aware of

The following errors have been reported and are being analyzed:
- Pet problems: The pet falls behind on several occassions (among other issues).
- Problems with colission on the bridges
- War status notifications
- Premium: Lord Necromancer (Fine Cloth material) cannot be painted
- Site overloading due to recent changes

The solution to these problems will be available starting next week, due to the upcoming easter.
We will also add the initial point distribution scroll for Utghars.

Its good to see you on the case NGD, especially to clear a few things up. This was quite a major update you did, so Im guessing some serious glitches (such as downloading) were bound to come up. But it is progress, which cannot be faulted if its in the best interests of the community

Gl with fixing these new bugs, WIN for the new Initiation Zone in Alsius.

And by the way, in case any one is wondering, the new Alsius initiation area is the new standard of quality we are aiming for in terms of level editing and player experience, so Ignis and Syrtis initiation areas will come next and then, in time, the rest of the world (And beyond?

).

P.S.: We are also not entirely happy with part of the experience in the first part of Alsius so we will continue to polish upon that.

It could be my new GFX card, but the new Alsius initiation zone is VERY impressive, excellent work!!!

For some reason, since the update, my screen freezes and just flashes after the blue ngd guy sequence. I can't get past it and into the game

Delete the Live folder that will get you passed that problem.

We took a trip there yesterday after my grad. OMG, it's awesome, really! Good work! The shaders on the dock looked really nice.. the only thing we miss now is this kind of reflections on knight armour

Still i am not able to play my hunter under 800x600. The chat window hovers above the pet commands and the pet command box is withe box and nothing in it.

thats nice to hear, will try now, as i had gotten frustrated and went to bed, but maybe I was a bit harsh anyways, bad day in RL..so i hope my issues will be resolved and agan thanks for putting the effort into this game that you people do.
