Devil face in the login!

I suppose this is a weird question, and may have been answered already but.... here it comes:

When you click on the Regnum icon and select Accept, you enter in the Login Area, which has a picture in the middle with a human, an elf, a dark elf and a dwarf. But behind them, there's a group of mountains, and the middle one has a face drawn on it, which looks like a devil or something, with a nose, blue eyes and horns.

I've been questioning myself about what that is, and it does look like an Utghar, but I just cant figure it out, so can anyone help?

I am not sure if someone knows for sure, but I believe there are hints in the Runestones quests.

It seems there is some ancient being that has been pulling some strings for his own evil purposes (and no, it is not Surak

. I am just kidding! I apologise for my little twisted humour).

This being was some kind of Sauron wannabe, an Evil dude that was trapped in the Lake of the Ancients during the last Great War, a fight that apparently happened many many years before the present war and even before the old peaceful days.

Little is known about this great war, but it seems that it ended when this Evil Creature was beaten and confined. The keys to this prison are the Runestones.

Also reading the Runestones quests you learn out about Allamar, Grathen and Lefrath, the "Legendary Warriors". I suppose that they may had been involved in this ancient war, as well as the imprison of this evil creature, since you search for their items to find the Runestones of the Legendary Warriors (I do not remember their stories right now).
There are other Runestones, like the Elemental ones, these belong to the family of 4 adventurers that found the Lake of the Ancients. It seems there is a Runestone from every Ancient Family.

At first, the Generals believe that the Runestones are some kind of weapon that would give your realm an advantage in the present war. Later you understand that the Evil creature tricked you into gathering the Runes because he needs them to escape from his magical prison.

Note: This are some things that you can actually read in the quests, mixed with some other that come from my imagination (also called Crazy Deductive skills)
Note 2: In the pictures, Vilcor in Alsius is the equivalent NPC (for the quests) to Ordamo in Ignis and to Malaguy in Syrtis.

So maybe this leads up to one final quest where u gather members from other realms and fight this boss?? that would be cool

The runestones story indeed mentions a deamon trapped under the lake of the anciants, which in the syrtis line at least they plan to release using the runestones so they can turn the tide of the war, called the Soulreaper or something.

I always assumed it was that thing, and look forward to the day (if it ever comes) that NGD makes it spawns it and lets the greatest pve fight in regnum start

Nice to see Alsius has a golem summoning nutjob as well, Syrtis has Malaguy

You fools do not realize the walls of the beast's prison have been weakened, the 6th god who was cast down by the other 5, and it will consume the world in nightfall. Its effects have already took place in our world, Varesh Ossa has released it.. woop wrong game.
