But you will also be able to hear your enemies, even behind rocks!

AFAIK, NGD always says it is not final and then releases it. ;-) It would really sad to be half naked. I love current mage tunics <3, <3.
Sorry, NGD for me being a bitch, but you could drop us a few lines about the stuff that we are concerned about so badly. Regards.

Ng3d 2.0
I think the tunics look great in the new engine. I know a lot of ppl who can't wait for this to take effect. Not so crazy about the Warrior armour though.

umaril
http://regnumonline.com.ar/forum/showthread.php?t=42222 and that's to anyone talking about eyecandy, if you read closely it says there's performance increase with more than 50%, personally what i'm looking forward to the most in this, I hope it'll really increase it and stop the big hops in the fps |

I know about those, as I said to Plat only just, I was asking if they plan to show anything else, or have any tunic/armour renders been approved to be used, and how they will look,
Of course Im looking forward to better performance, but If Im getting 4 FPS in the most epic fights then 6 wont be much better, just moveing around normaly though from 30 to 45 would be impressive. And Ill be interested in how this effects Ping, though normaly I dont get a problem form Ping, and if it will deal with freezing on enemys/citys coming into veiw, When I reach a battle It takes about 5 seconds for me to move, and about 15 to get a real framerate going.

Lol, I also look forward to the new performance. But it solves the problem that should have been solved ages ago. Its no wonder they are going with a whole new engine now.
Now because NGD didn't do this when they should have done it, we have to wait even longer for other mandatory problems to be fixed. To define the term eye candy, it fits into the line of something that looks appealing, but is virtually useless. NGD's logic is that they can continue feeding the players with small things like unfinished content and occasional changes to their daily routines to keep the sheep busy. You see how it gets worse in the line of satisfied players anyway with each coming update. I welcome changes like this, but changes like these only continue to stall the game, because it is being worked upon from the outside in. The problems will continue to stack when they are left ignored. It's like building a tower from the top down. |
