clearly you barely wont dodge a projectile from far (what obey statistical calculations), but you can round your enemy sidestepping until reach his back, and attack him from behind (cannot block nor counter attack)

Strafing is actualy one thing that rules in this update. :P I would be also very happy of mage speed increase, if we hadn't to pay so much for it. :P

Minor change! OMFG. Anyway I am not going deeper into it.

Back to the original topic: strafe is big improvement for movement, but well, the best is the option that you are able to not use it if you don't like it.

I've been playing warlock before you started playing, and during the past changes applied to windwall never changed so much the class it bringed a bit of luck factor. Just try to play a bit without it, you'll see you don't really need it.

FU strafing, 2+ years without it worked fine, no complaints, why to add it to make it just like another game from many ? I dont know
This is going to be the worst update i've ever seen, bless crashes and position lags in compare with that

one of the things that really got me hooked to regnum was the unique and personal PvP/RvR combat that not only involved autohits and hitting spells in correct order to win but also included a clever and working movement system that you learned and learned to master to your advantage. I'm sad this is now finally totally scraped (was already nerfed badly with last update) and forgotten and regnum will be like any other game out there..
dunno about the rest of you but I had a lot of fun "dancing" and always thought of it as a "skill of player" more than just a movement system.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one to notice it. Yes, RO always made me come back, it was like having turn based strategy components on a fluid, yet sometimes lagged , motion.

Fact is it's their game and they can do with it whatever they want. But it's my money and the same rule applies.

+1 Yeah i loved the movement system the way it was, it kept things at a reasonable slow pace for RvR and gave you some nice tactics in PvP. RIP Nice movement system
