Well its vital for me as a clan leader, i need the chat to give my members orders, ask them about different things that are going on right now and of course just for talking about everything that comes to mind.

I also use skype with some of my friends when we are playing, much easier to communicate and plan stuff because then u don't have to type, u can just say the order instead.

Never used Teamspeak yet.
As to Skype... well, i use it because loads of people use it too, and because their protocol is soooooooooo proprietary that's it's a real pain to communicate with it ...
In fact i didn't find any soft that allows to use their protocol (and thus to communicate with their users) without having skype running at least in background. This is so far i know both for chat and VOIP true. (but i didn't check recently)

Just to mention one thing, it's the only internet service i know which doesn't allows you to delete your account...
For all those who like to be imprisoned ... it's the right adress to go !

One thing i cannot deny : their stuff work, and with pretty good quality if you compare with all other VOIP, but as soon as a way to get pass them is released, you'll probably see a huge shift from users out of it !

thanx for youre interresting posts. I also try to use all channels, but sometimes i send my chat int he wrong one ;( gotta work on it, really... ) for me, chat it very important, but with lvl 17 i have no need for more, jet.
Later in the game, it surly makes the diffrence between win and loss
