I think its because they have a large, populated and extremely active server with a good community with the majority speaking Spanish. Thats exactly what Horus needs, only the English equivalent.

I understand how English Ra folks wont want to leave unless their friends do, or because they have their own Spanish friends who cant move, but nevertheless I totally support NGD's transfer idea. By the sounds of it, Horus probably is underpopoulated and quite inactive compared to Ra. While NGD's user count went up by 8,000 in 1 year of Horus (nearly), Alsius is still getting arse-kicked (any English Alsius Ra veterans will be invaluable), Syrtis is still the god (and will be even god-er if transfers are extremely successful with Ra Syrtis) and Ignis stays in the middle, not yet the nest but could crush Alsius any day.
So to cut the crap, transfers are needed, and anyone not severely attached to Ra should definitely consider it. Im an Alsius Horus player through and through, and I have no plans to move my Ignis char from Ra to Horus, as its a level 2. Because I wanted to check out the new initiation zone, which rocks

Horus and the people there are not my baby I left in some rubbish bin on the side of the road. I left for Ra for my own reasons, this thread is not about that.

If I were to ever go back to Horus, I would be Alsius, and be happly killing the people that caused me to leave that Drama server in the first place.

Well simply that sounds horrible no person should be judged or insulted cause you left a server.

Well there was a lot more than just that comment, and I have neglected to state any reason why it may have been said as it is very well off topic, just take it as there are some people on the server that are happy I'm not there

I do hope for the sake of Ra that the transfers are hardly used, as in my exprence language is no barrier there (thank you to those who translate if I need to know).

Viperdh, you could always use a name change scroll, problem solved. Its just whether or not Horus is worth spending money on, in your personal opinion.

Now I am in a quandry.

I started a hunter a few months ago. Do I cointinue to grind him? But if NGD allows me to transfer my Ra hunter over, that would be a waste of time. But who knows when this transfer would happen.

I currently have three level 50's on Ra (conjurer, warlock, marksman), and a level 49 conjurer on Horus. If given the opportunity, I would transfer my warlock and marksman to Horus in a heartbeat.

It has been harder and harder for me to play on Ra over the last six months. Most of my English-speaking friends have left. Almost no new English-speakers have joined Ra in that time to replace those the left. I would go to war surrounded by 20 allies, yet felt alone, since I didn't speak the language of the masses. My Horus conjurer is 49 now, and I haven't even logged into Ra in a couple weeks at least, so it is an easy decision for me.

I am hoping that they transfer our items and gold in the process. It would be silly to come to a new server at level 50, completely naked. However, they must wipe RP (or do some other reductionary math). For example, my Ra marksman is not on the "top 50 marksmen" list, but if he was transfered to Horus with his RP, he would have more than any other Alsius character (except other Ra-to-Horus immigrants).

I would think that they have to allow our items across, because those items take months or even years to obtain - it would be very unfair if we couldn't keep them. Also, some items will have been paid for. Taking these away from someone basically amounts to theft.

I have 20 mil gold on Ra. So i suppose transferring such huge amounts of gold could upset the econmoy in Horus. So i would accept a 'nerf' to my gold stash (tho hopefully i won't go over completely broke).

As for RP's, that's the trickiest one. NGD have to be careful they don't upset the Horus guys by having Ra guys come over and knocking them out of the rankings. But it's also important to remember that the RA guys have obtained these by 'serving their time' in the WZ.
