Pace of combat seems a little slow.

The level of action in combat seems to be a little low. It seems to be a long wait between attacks both for PCs and NPCs alike. I would like to see more attacks and perhaps faster combat all around. It can become boring to either 1. wait several seconds between attacks, and 2. have an encounter take an overly long amount of time to finish...

May I add that kneeling down and getting up takes way too long, 4 or 5 seconds.

I suppose it could be lag, but everything else was fine so I think probably not.

I've noticed the same thing. What is strange is that the battles are actually taking longer. It isn't just an illusion due to lag. It is possible that it could be server side lag, which could cause combat to draw out over a long period of time. One thing to note is that every once in a while the combat runs at an acceptable speed. So, it works sometimes, not others... Interesting...

Sometimes when casting spells with my melee charactor, he waits and waits while the monster hits him 3 or 4 times, then all of a sudden the spell comes, and it is not alligned with the animation: very annoying

I noticed it too. I was thinking that it should be the lag

. Everytime, I've to wait for about 3 or 4 seconds after casting a spell to see the damage.

Recently we all are suffering a considerable latency to the server, but don't panic, NGD is working to fix most of the problems as soon as possible.
