i use linux (ubuntu), and i found the game listed on the linux game tomb and it reminded me alot of asherons call when i saw it. i played it and was hooked (got to lvl 10 on first day). the only thing i miss is dungeons, but i think i'll live

its because i got bored of runescape so this was the closest thing to a realy good rpg game with better graphics and its free

The same. First i was looking for game with native Linux client, then i tried and Regnum was the best of them. There should be account opened for special volunteer donations for Surak to develop Linux client.

Same for me. I came from Planeshit, the most bug-ridden game imaginable, with clueless devs, led by a self-absorbed disorganized "leader" and pre-adolescent power-tripping GMs. This is no joke... it took them THREE YEARS to get from version 0.3 to 0.4. LOL!

Not many other MMORPG games have clients natively for Linux. Several Windows games do, however, work nicely in wine, though I much prefer to support a company that makes a native Linux client. I have bought something like $120 ximerin because I wish to support NGD, though I stopped buying ximerin when the game became imbalanced and bugs stopped getting fixed. If they ever get around to fixing things, I might start passing money their way again.
