Mouse in windowed mode

I have Win xp and when I switch to windowed mode with alt+enter in game or I unmatch the Fullscreen tab in options before launching the game and I maximilize the window the mouse not work. The keybord does just I cannot select anything. But when I have the halfscreen mode it works ok.

I have the same Issue, mouse works fine in fullscreen or windowed (small) but on max(windowed) the mouse seems off place, If you try you can still select things but the select point and the visual pointer are quite far apart, about an 2" on my screen.

I have this issue also if I maximize the window, I understand this is an issue, but here is my workaround, I edited my game.cfg file vg_screen_width and vg_screen_height to 1824x1000, but my screen resolution is 1824x1026, so I had to set the height a little less to account for the title bar, it might also be necessary to set vg_fullscreen_mode to 0, this sets windowed mode, good luck.

I use this workaround as well. (My title bar is 22 pixels though)
