Request for Invasion Rules Clarification

Hello NGD,

It appears that some people receive punishments for some actions they do in order to protect the gem. In order to avoid (or at least limit) incidents like these, could you give us a clearer set of rules to follow? For example, when trying to protect a gem, are any of these legal?

Drowning with the gem on a body of water.
Dropping the gem to an inaccessible location.
Hiding the gem inside a town.
Dropping the gem near an epic mob.

I know we have our own opinions about what may be legal or not, but this thread is about our questions to NGD regarding what's wrong and what's right in invasions. I hope no one would use this to voice out his or her own opinions regarding the matter. If possible, lets keep this thread as a list of questions for NGD to clarify about the expected etiquette and rules for invasions. Hopefully, they will take notice and answer.

Yea with all these possibilities of "protecting" gem the game only suffers.

Maybe the solution to make sure everyone HAS to play by the rules is a tech change that if the gem carrier gets killed b4 setting it in the portal, the gem returns to pedestal.

This accompanied by a timer, with way more than enough time to place the gem in the portal, would guarantee that the gem stays either in pedestal OR portal.

That number gap gets bigger every time you post... And remember it works both ways, only real way to manage invasion is outnumbering the enemy by a lot, now consider Ignis have opened the portal what, 30 times?

City invasion is fine in my eyes, its in the trailer for invasions after all, dropping it by an Epic mob alright, but placing it somewhere where the game code makes it impossible to get, water, arena etc is unjust.

a + for all rules, but hiding gem in a city should be legal.
i think enemy's can come in evry part and every city.
