Yet another day in Regnum. I am heading to Samal and I can see a few people standing there and waiting for nothing. So I sit down inside of the fort waiting for something to happen. Some other people arrive and someone asks, if we could head towards the Aggersborg Fort. About 10 people join and we start our trip. Soon we arrive at the fort. It is empty, so it is no challenge to take it. Soon some enemies appear and it's going to be more and more. So at one point, we will all die and the fort is taken back by Alsius.
It's about 18 o'clock now and someone puts a war banner asking the people to show up at Tenax spot. 18:30 o'clock, it's Tenax time. So I jump on my horse, heading to Tenax. When I arrive, I see about 40 people waiting to get a drop. Tenax will die quickly of course and everyone is asking, who got the drop. I jump on my horse again heading back to Samal, hoping a lot more people may appear at Samal now. On my way back to Samal, Alsius has taken over Menirah Fort. So I head to Menirah. I can see 5 people fighting against 20 enemies. I guess, the other people may show up soon. After 30 minutes it's getting strange. Noone else seems to go to Menirah. I put up a war banner asking for help. After some time, one low level barb and some low level magicians appear, trying to help. The other people stay at Samal Fort, talking about their cool drops or sitting at Samal bind talking about the weather and of course... about their cool drops. It's getting annoying to die again and again in Menirah but after some time, we finally managed to take back the fort but just because some enemies left Menirah. You could be more proud of those low level combatants than to anyone else. The good old days are gone.

Yet another day in Regnum.

Awesome story. The thing is that you need some organisation, just like alsius. They have few numbers but they have a lot of teamwork I don't know how. So keep trying and you will succeed.

I remember once on RA, our gates were in danger, but no! Tenax had spawned!! Far more important.

Yes, but it is very difficult to deliver a convincing display of teamwork and good performance with some low level combatants you have never seen before. It's also not about the teamwork at all. It's about how much those items have been ruining the RvR.

NGD could change the drop chance calculations. The more realm points you made within the last seven days, the higher is your chance to get the drop. This would force the people to join the wars in the warzone.

That would require NGD to balance the rp rate between classes first. Support conju's can work their ass off in war and only be dealt a third of the rp of what a warlock can get in the same fights.

Okay, what about RP-ranges mixed with the current drop chance calculation? For example:

5000+ rp in the last 7 days - very high bonus chance but still depending on your influence on defeating the boss

3000-5000 rp in the last 7 days - high bonus chance but still depending on your influence on defeating the boss

1500-3000 rp in the last 7 days - average bonus chance but still depending on your influence on defeating the boss

and so on...

Those values are only an example of course.

Instead of trying to nerf drops (seriously? O.O ), why don't we work with NGD to make RvR more interesting?

The WZ is in dire need of re-thinking, and Chilkor has already told us there are changes coming for RvR. Beyond that, getting upset because everyone won't drop what they're doing and run to the random RP form of the moment is useless. If you want a group of people to take forts and RvR, create one and stop complaining because random strangers won't run across the map to do your bidding.
