after updates log on stops

after an update i try to log on and get a message from my firewall
asking to allow access. i do and it all works.
last time the same happened but log on stopped at
retrieveing new disc.
i had to load experimental server and my firewall asked for access to that.
i agreed and everything worked.
this time no matter what i do, log on stops.
dont know if this is because servers are down. but it doesnt seem like it.
any suggestions?
i tried deleteing serverfiles and relogging in
doesnt help. login stops at
[18:11] http retriever is ready
i have to shut pc off by the button. dont know how to start up as a window any help will be appreciated thx R.R.

hi,

by any chance are you trying to run the game on the experimental server? if thats the case that server is only used for testing etc and that server is offline. you should be playing on the server official which is where everyone plays.

yes i try on offical
had to go to experimental once and login to get everthing working and let firewall allow.
this time i uninstalled the game now.
downloaded again and now i have a new problem.
one of the autopatches runs up to 2145 of 2156 kb
then it stops. disapears. and comes back at the begginging of the patch and runs to 2145 again.
it repeats this over and over till it loads up and stops.
i pressed cntrl alt delete and found i had about 15 programs not responding and it took about 45 minutes to clear them.
then when i tried restarting the puter i kept getting a program not responding. and had to shut off by the button im at a loss at what to do now.
i need some real tech support for this one because im not puter savey

I had that problem.
The game just hang up on that line.

Solution: I deleted all files in my Live folder and re-downloaded everything.
Since then everything have worked fine.

i did that last time i reinstalled the game.
i just reinstalled again and still have the same problem.
i will try again though i have no other options

i have tried everything suggested.
nothing helps.
i didnt try one thing "delete eveything in live server"
i dont know where to download its contense from.
i uninstalled again and still not working so i guess they didnt get the fix uploaded yet.
hope they post when its done everyone is lvling past me while i stare
at the forum
