Display only combat log

Is there a way of turning off the chat window altogether, but leaving the combat log open?

Short answer? No.

Someone asked about this before but NGD never made a reply so I doubt there ever will be a way to turn off chat but not the combat log.

sometimes realm chat and clan chat gets annoying for me too. i usually just resize my chat windows so that 90% of it is your combat log and i ignore the rest. just drag it up and down to the proportion you'd like

Actually thats a pretty nice idea for gamers who don't want to be disturbed while grinding.

Usually I tell Everybody I'm AFK or I just tell them I'm grinding most of the time they understand it.
But why don't click on the crystal button everything appears and the combat logg isn't that necessary, right

?

you're right its not necessary but i feel naked without it. pressing "t" turns all chats off but i usually turn them back on because i like watching my combat log to see weather my attacks were evaded/resisted, how much damage i did, what drops and exp i got and what im tracking etc etc... if you not into that and dont wana be disturbed then go for it

Well I agree with you on that point, well perhaps it's a good idea for the future.

Some time ago was wondering the same thing and the only answer I can give to not do this its....This its a mmorpg were the funny its talk whit the others users If you dont want to talk whit ppl go to FF or wow or torchlight..the grace of this game its the community If you close that, the game lost the grace.

your english is awsome

you right, the community is the heart of this genre of gaming and its one of the main reason why most of play it. But every now and then we come across idiots who try to ruin it or people that just annoy you, or sometimes you just wana be left alone while you wack some weasels. not all conversations that go on in game are intellegent so i chose to ignore the ones that aren't.

lol i forgot what the point of this topic was
