Problema con ATI

bueno gente, el problema es este, dsp de actualizar a mesa 7 se pierde el DRI bajo este error

(EE) RADEON(0): [dri] RADEONDRIGetVersion failed to open the DRM
(EE) AIGLX: Screen 0 is not DRI capable

alguna idea?, alguien lo soluciono?

aps, glxinfo toma bien mesa 7 openGL 2.1 asi que no se pa donde correr

edito : la distro es un kubuntu 7.04 a 64 bits
