Hit Chance/Concentration?

My specific question is: what benefits will a warrior receive from items giving hit chance and concentration bonuses? are they even worthwhile stats to boost in the grand context of war?

Also, the descriptions in game for stats in general aren't all that clear. If someone knows the whereabouts to more in depth descriptions are I'd be happy to read up on anything that is already out there.
