Hi guys,
Just so you know, I am not the original JainFarstrider. This account has been handed to me from him in REAL LIFE. I am a close friend of his (we live very close), and can give you guys some updates about the card game. The card game is finished! It has been for a while. I have played it with the original JainFarstrider and another Regnum friend and it is, suffice to say, based on the Magic: The Gathering card system (you weren't expecting a trading card game were you?). The game has 3 decks, one for each realm. There are monsters, situations, and other types of cards. Sorry, but there are no individual players here. He didn't do it Piz-comic style. Though he promises that each realm is balanced, Alsius seems to have a bit of the upper-hand. The cards are not lame paper ones printed from a home machine- he sent the data to a company in Hong Kong that made very nice playing cards. They are complete with a Regnum Online classy logo on the back of each card, and involve standardized information on each card. I don't know how NGD will take to this. I have warned my friend that legal issues may have popped up, but he was a bit oblivious to my warnings. If they confirm that we are in the green he might release the cards either to download for free or for paid purchase on e-bay or something. Each deck has a nice case-like thing. Note that the cards are not cheap. The card-makers cost about $15 USD per card game, so the whole thing at the least might be 16 USD. Will try to persuade my friend to get photos of the card game. I am now playing Ingtar, just fyi. My friend didn't quit. We traded accounts, I gave him a knight called Bashere. Keep in mind that we did all of this face-to-face and I don't think NGD will have a problem with this CHeers
