I still go out of combat mode after most actions, this reflex has wained over the last few years but I still have it.

Shame it doesn't do anything anymore for non-Marx classes.

Gear matters alot, depending on the situation. I use WM Marksman Shortbow, which is fast/25 (range 30 with Foresight lv5). With this bow I can use Hawk's gaze and Rapid shot for +50% attack speed and do about 3 hits per second of ~350 damage, kill most players within the duration of SOTW(3) and Escapist(3).

This is gear dependance. My abilities enhance it, but the deed is still done by the bow, what gem it has, what arrows I have, what rings I have, etc.
