Every realm throws its weight around once the inhabitants find they have the potential to do so with impunity.
Ignis have done so on Horus, Alsius have done so on Raven and we are guilty for doing so on Haven.
We're numerous, yes and our numbers are fairly consistent throughout the day yet we have to do something otherwise we may as well log off - that's not to say killing grinders and whatnot is the ideal activity but if the other two realms simply cannot provide a challenge, yes it results in a fort farm.
We're not to blame for population issues, you cannot reasonably expect players to abstain from joining in simply because there are too many of us.

On a vaguely related note; I was rather glad Alsius managed to successfully put our gate in danger a few days ago, my realm hadn't been invaded in so long, we had forgotten the taste and some of my realm-mates honestly deserved the lesson in humility, that is to say, we should not take things for granted.
