You realize that when this game was beta that there were a ton of MMOs out there right? See I knew you knew this, for your not dumb. I cannot speak for all nations, but for seasoned MMO players in America, most look very deeply into which games to fuel their resources into, even ones that offer item malls or are totally free. What this means is that most will be digging up information about the game by looking at all the message boards, reviews and so on about the game. And although this might be true about Americans I can assure you that the Japanese, the Koreans and most of the Chinese do as well. Do know why? Because like the Americans, there has to be big rewards in it for them. Game play is not enough. To most this falls down to selling items, gold, or accounts on e-bay. yet for others it's the chance to carve out their own density within a virtual world, be it the great hunter, warrior or the like to the great smith, cook or the like, or the great merchant or even the most know pk'er around. Now how does this tie in about talking trash about Regnum? Simple, a brief look into these boards, even to the most casual observer, will show that something is fundamentally wrong here and will be put off to even try it. Which means that even if the rewards were not high, they may have been willing to over look these once they got in the game, felt the non-zoning continuous landscape and experienced the pvp system. For if anything, Regnum has one thing to offer that most MMOs don't and that is a gaming experience centered around pvp. And there is a reason why most MMOs don't center around pvp, balance issues, which rest between the difference between pve and pvp. And also pvp between classes. So keep trashing the game, bitch about classes being over powered and crying for nerfs, because you will be turning off people who might crave pvp, but are experienced enough to know how to look into the game before committing to it. |
