Effective use of XP boosters?

So, I recently got myself some ximerin, seeing as my free time is getting less and less, and the desire to play only grows. I figured if I ever hit 50, I'd have to do it by using boosters.

And yeah okay vanity kicked in and I want a cool looking armor too

So, any tips on using boosters? How to squeeze the best out of them? How much do they actually last?

Don't restrict yourself to my questions, any experience you think would be helpful to share, please, feel free
