Game binary crashes.
well i'm starting a new thread since i didn't find any help in the existing ones.
I am suffering constants crashes, which i can be described as random, but pretty often after some time of playing, could be from a minute to fifteen of them, the game binary crashes reporting a SIGSEGV signal, i am no developer so i can not determine who is actually writing outside it's memory map, but it leaves a backtrace behind, which i'll add properly. Most info should be there, but just in case, i'm running debian, with precompiled kernel 2.6.25-2-686 #1 SMP, (though the same problems happened with older kernel versions), i use nvidia's "OpenGL version string: 2.1.2 NVIDIA 173.14.09", installed with module-assist method. cant think of any other info right now, so please let me know if there is anything else to add. this is the only debian station that i have, but i run the game on other linuxes without any problem, it works flawlessly in every other condition.. |
