Quoth the Ignus (horus): The Abridged Version

Once a grinding session dreary, fatigue making me weak and weary,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a mapping,
As of some one's banner rapping, calling me out to war.
'Should be interesting,' I muttered, 'to go out to war -
I'll do this, then nothing more.'

Ah, distinctly I remember there was many a member,
And each separate member fighting at the Ignis door.
Eagerly I follow; - seemed no reason to feel sorrow
Using Onslaught as a barrow - a barrow through the Ignis door -
We took our gem back, and one of theirs in this war -
Supposedly for evermore.

And many were rustling to attack at the Alsius gate
Thrilled with lust - filled with battle-lust never felt before;
But Alsius is empty, many started repeating
'Why should we attack an empty door -
Not enough people want to go to their empty door;' -
But Ignis took a gem, and nothing more,

Presently our power grew stronger; hesitating then no longer,
'CHARGE,' said many, 'head to Ignis' door;'
So we came rapping, when few Ignis were napping,
Their strength sapping, sapping from defending their door,
We rushed and took the last gem; -
We had all but Alsius', nothing more.

Deep into Alsius peering, but all brave, none fearing,
Finally chose to end it, and gain rewards none ever dared to dream before
And the silence was broken, as our optimism was spoken,
We all rejoiced all we needed, 'Just one more!'
This we whispered, what we needed, 'Just one more!'
Merely this and nothing more.

But through many times of Shaa burning, all of us learning,
We lacked the forces that we had had before.
'Surely,' said we, 'surely that with our winning status;
We could win, as Ignis must have had to sleep sometime before -
But we cannot coordinate a moment, too few forces to explore; -
No gem, and nothing more!'

But one night as we grinded through the gutter, with many a gripe and flutter,
Very few of us, barely any of levels 40 or more.
Rushed did they; waited until all were gone and attacked did they;
Pathetically small resistance had we at our door -
And we mentioned we had not enough logged to fight at the door -
Quoth the Ingis:
