Scratch that - NGD could reproduce the pet getting left behind bug, at least. I personally talked with a developer on Amun and showed how this would work. About A FULL WEEK before the patch hit the live servers.

For the rest: These are links to posts in the Testing Team forums. The 800x600 problem with the Pet/Summon Control Panel, as well as the "pet getting left behind" problem were reported by the testing team, quite a few times.

The downloading issues - Amun was loading wicked fast for us guys, I guess this is just a problem that you can only see with 2000 users trying to patch the game at the same time.
