Limux Client Still Performs Poorly After 1.08

Ok, Hotfix 2 is now out, so i thought that i would try playing on linux again but i still get the same TERRIBLE performance that i have been getting since 1.08 launched.


1.07 and 1.08(in amun) i would get 50-75 FPS in both linux and windows:


!.08 went live and i now get between 15-50 FPS. It usually stays around 30. 30 USED to be playable for me with no choppiness, but the way it is now, even in the middle of nowhere, no other players around, no particles or anything, and im getting 50 fps, its still very very choppy.

I have not changed drivers, i have not changed hardware, and i have done nothing that would account for this being an issue. The only difference is that game is now 1.08.



I did use that CPU issue fix thinking that it may help there (deleting certain files and downloading them again). It did fix the CPU issue, but the game runs so poorly for me in linux that i must now log into windows > in order to play.

I know that there was some talk in irc about this issue when 1.08 first came out, but i am curios to know if other people still have this issue, and if not, what did you do to resolve it.
