my first day on linux so pls don't burn me

Hi all. I've played this game on windows before and thought it was pretty cool. Today I thought I'd have a go at Linux to see what all the fuss is about and I remembered this game having a linux client.

I first loaded up Ubuntu (nice distro) and I can't remember how now but I got the installer working. However, now I'm using PCLinuxOS and cannot get the launcher to run at all.

Can anyone confirm whether or not I can run Regnum on this OS? If so, could you provide a quick rundown on how to do it?

Thanks in advance and sorry if this has been posted before but I couldn't find any info from searching the forum.
