I admit that we can´t be completely sure.
But it seems plausible, that they are talking of a new subclass.

Still think my idea is closer to the extremely vague picture. Observe the lock in knight armor. Think of the many possibility's if you could merge two of your lvl 50 chars to make one all powerful one. Of coarse I'm just getting myself all excited so that i will be disappointed next Monday cant think of any other reason to tell us so little. At least they could give us some sort of idea without giving away to much of there big surprise.

I hope not, this would kill all variety and balance.

If all classes gain a "Warmaster" tree, this might kill balance too. Some classes will gain more of this new tree than others.
I want to have less shared trees (not even more).
