The 1.8.0 Bug Annex: Report All known bugs here
Known Bugs (Please add any which I've overlooked):
Weapon Trails and/or Beams being turned on Crashing Client Changing Characters Crashing Client Changing Characters loading screen getting stuck Precise Block Animation Bug (turning in place, sitting down, etc. removes animation while still active) -- Heavily Abused Precise Block Active while running bug -- Moderately Abused Spells not triggering when pressed; mashing or "hammering" spells required to make trigger (caused by packet-loss?) Light Horse warping to casting-origin once moving after casting Invisible Players causing FPS drop Players stuck in the ground after teleporting Phantom Swings (while better than they used to be, they're still there and still very annoying) Positioning inconsistencies (mostly with mobs/guards that are moving or knocked/stunned/immobilized) People showing up online or disconnecting from buddy list making the client stall or hang briefly (can be very annoying while mid-combat). Horn of the wind triggering when an ally(allies) are right on the edge of horn distance; the casting ally gets it while those on the edge of range do not. Protect Ally/Dispell removing an ally's Precise Block that's active Targetting problems near fort doors (getting a target selection to "stick" can be a nightmare around foor doors even if there is nobody else in the way of clicking on the player) Missing name on mounts Riding invisible mounts when really dismounted Warriors having weapons stuck on back and all attack animations suspended while in attack mode. Usually happens while casting a preliminary buff while not in attack mode. Warriors unable to stow weapons while running (happens sometimes but still very annoying) Fort doors sometimes showing up as invisible after possession of fort changes. Achievements not working for level 60's (such as "Best RvR" and "Altruist" etc. not triggering). Upon capturing a level 2+ fort/castle, not receiving gold from capture even though inside the fort/castle (I've discovered you have to be pretty darn close to the flag when it switches to get the gold--intentional?). Some critical, linchpin quest mobs (like the Water Pendant holder in Alsius for example) gone missing for weeks. Not capable for players to move on with quests until they can kill them. Save Guard being "pacified" by certain techniques from enemies (using things like low profile/sanctuary, etc.) to cease aggro. Also save-guards not attacking aggressive mobs. Being frozen while turning/strafing causing that movement input to get stuck after freeze duration. Typing in chat causing character to get stuck strafing or turning (when typing with "w" "s" "a" "d" "q" or "e" at the end of a sentence) No sound bug (I've not personally experienced this) Invisible self bug (I've not personally experienced this) Some spells double-casting (any instant-warrior attack spells like mindsquasher, gutting, south cross, etc. doubling up in log with two different damage inputs) -- Very rare but still occurs Archers who are turned into werewolves expending arrows while attacking (intentional?) Receiving fall damage on the other side after using a Warmaster Teleport. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That's it for now.
