Shameless plug for my novel Stormchild. It falls within the genre of Epic Fantasy Adventure, but if you're looking for elves, dragons and fairies, you'll find none within as it's not that type of novel.

It does have a lot of action and original lore, and a few main-characters with their own story-lines which overlap and diverge through three books: The Twisting Fates, The Rise of the Dark Spectrum, The Battle for Tyralan.

Since the setting and background is pretty thick, it takes till about chapter V or VI for everything to solidify, but that's the intent. You cannot build a house without first having a strong foundation.

Opinions and comments are appreciated as this was more of a fun distraction for me than something I'll hang my hat upon.

One more thing: It's written in the format of a storyteller verbally telling a story (orrative-fashion). As such, the prose is older, drawn out and more deliberate and much of the grammar/spelling is formatted in older British/English. I'll admit that it takes some getting used to, but it in itself was intentional to fit the ambiance of the setting itself.

Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
