Default Old magna weapons overpriced now?

I just want peoples thoughts on this...

When the old magna weapons were added, they were comparable to some of the best droppable weapons. Some of them were bad, but quite a few of them (ilke mag LB) were good, and others were decent (2H barb hammer). Thus, combined with the unique look, and two gem slots, at the time they were semi-worth their extremely high price, but only just barely.

But now, in the game of WM and Champions, these items seem horrificly overpriced for what they give. I don't think their unique but dated look is worth 10 ingots when you can get the new magna weapons for just five more. On top of this, these items are level 45, and are bypassed by even the weakest elite or ancient gear at level 55 or so. The new experience curve has also meant that nobody stays at level 45-50 for long.

If the old magna weapons are going to remain in the game, I think that they need a serious price rebalancing, Because as it stands, no one will ever buy them again since they would prefer to just save up five more ingots for a modern magna weapon that is much much stronger. Before this was justified; the removed quest made them effectively legendary artifacts that could never be obtained again, but now that you can get them again they're just overpriced pieces of junk.

I'm the type who prefers more useable content in the game, rather than having everyone as the same.

Others thoughts?
