his is a Short story about a battle at trelleborgs something I threw
together hope you enjoy it!

As a wounded scout rushed in to the fort he yells 'Gash my lord'
A Syrtian war party is just across the hill.
Guard Said 'Run! For your lives!'
'Hold your posts! Soldiers Hold your Post!' Says Gash 'We Will Defend this Fort it will not Fall today or anytime Soon'

The soldiers stand quiet, as they hear the Syrtis horns & the stomp of a large army getting closer.
Each and every second the Syrtians are now in sight of the Trelleborg.

the Alsian archers spray the Syrtis with arrows as they charge.
Shields start to be bashed loud sound of metal being grinded,
Staffs hiting the ground as they cast spells and arrows flying through the air.

After just a few moments the Syrtians are beating on the door, however the five of us remain in a tattered fort for 3 days.
We manage to keep the elves at bay but we were Stricken by hunger & fatigue.

Hope was lost .. the rising sun looked as if the sky had been set ablaze with
with the strength to go one more time out the door. We ready ourselves for
death but not with out taking all we could down with us.
We rushed the wave of Syrtians soldiers, a cry of desperation and agony was released as arrows enterd our bodies.

Our steel rang loud as it crashed through armor and bone,
time stood still, as we stood with our backs to cold stone wall of the
Trelleborg. Might as well be a grave stone to us all, but when all hope was lost and we had faced our fates and accepted our deaths. Our long awaited
Calvary had arrived, pushing the sytris back.

Those of us who survived were carried in the tower and were mended of our wounds, but in the distance we heard the pounding of drums and knew it was not over..
