they do. specially if you lower the volume to 0%, game crashes pretty often. Same if you log in with 0% and try to increase it ingame. But not always! I have the feeling that the longer you've been logged in, the higher the chance for you to crash.

this problem persists for at least three years. still, noone has ever reported it..
