#Journal - News!
Hey everyone!
It's been some weeks of planning and designing and finally we're starting to have some things to show. As some of you may know, we're working on the level 1 to 50 progression to make new players reach faster to the best that Regnum has to offer. Along with adjusting the quests and adding new ones, we will first start doing something we wanted to do for a long time: make players experience the War Zone as fast as possible. The formerly named Squid Island will cover that purpose. Now anyone can enter this island, but there is a strange force that is making everyone that enters there as powerful as can be. In this island there is an enormous quantity of a mineral that causes this. Every realm is desperate to take control and mine this mineral. To achieve this, there will be daily quests in which players will have to defeat enemies and control the territory through capturing towers. The rewards will be awesome and soon you will know more about it. We believe that this will encourage constant encounters between new and old players. As soon as you reach level 5 you will be able to enter here and feel as powerful as a veteran. And those already in high levels will have something new to do every day with a new reward that will be extremely attractive and also helping newcomers to enjoy more the game. We expect to have something to test in Amun in a week or two. Stay tuned! -------- Hello everyone! We're advancing with the Squid Island changes. As you can see in the screenshot, some of you guessed which mineral it was about: the Xymerald (yes, it pollutes but only water ). The system to dominate the island is almost finished and it will allow to create several new quest objectives (and also new crafts [ahem] Xymerald [ahem]). The most important fact related to this island is not only that you can enter from level 5 to level 60, but that it allows a lot of new quests to be created in these levels that will make you come and go and keep the contact between experienced and new players at a maximum that was never seen before. We're very excited with this update and in the next few days (surely next Monday or Tuesday) we will open Amun because we need you to help us testing the basics of how the island functions now. To clear some doubts: we know that even if we make newbies more powerful they might have no chance with experienced players, but quests will make sure no one gets frustrated by telling you what to expect and make the objectives be easy and progressively become more daring. Take it as a training mode that will, finally, give an end to so many levels without real conflict. We hope you are as thrilled as us with what's coming for Regnum!
