I love how the other day Trix or someone commented on how they thought it was such a great battle - I hate to tell all of the Ignis that do this but at this time most Syrtains are pulling their hair out, fighting amoungst themselves over who and who will not participate and why, and all kinds of other depressing crap.
I mean no disrespect, but commenting on it is like throwing mud in our faces and saying "HA HA".
It has truely become the worst thing that I have to look at in Syrtis, and anymore I just immediately close the window when they take the fort, or switch to another character and go levelling, and others do the same.
There is a clear difference between war and easy RP harvesting.

I logged on in the middle of that the other night when the 'incident' that some made a big deal out of happened. The reality is that syrtis forces at that particular time of night are just plain outnumbered by that particular ignis crew. What's worse, some of the absolute worst "it's just a game/i don't have to listen to you/stop shouting" players of Syrtis make up a large portion of our force at that same time of night. And to top it off, it seems like no one playing that time of night has learned the value of actually building their characters with an area attack.
I could just go hunting during that time too i suppose, but if i'm online, i feel compelled to fight for stone or central and do my best to help organize those of us that actually do want to fight for our main fort.
It's not as bad as Nessa makes out though- usually, and once that crew leaves, we OWN ignis for hours afterwards. We have a decided advantage for several hours before that ignis crew comes on too, actually.
Every realm has a time of day (or a few) where they have a lethal combo of numbers and top players online. When they do, they tend to dominate. As they should.
PS: After you showed up that night to help we took the fort pretty quickly, even with all the bickering. Good job by you Nessa. I felt like you (and your area attack) were the difference maker.
