I won't make a fuss about this because NGD is using the language differences to justify it, but it's at least a questionable issue. London is closer to Lisbon then any other capital, except Madrid (but not by much, but even then I rather go to Barcelona)... I was going to start a discussion about how Portugal and Spain have obvious influences in Central and South America but only to acknowledge that language is part of a culture and that culture is, as always have been, European. But the matter at hands doesn't justify it, it's a decision made by a private company. Good luck with it. Che, suerte!

The sound of the Gion Shōja bells echoes the impermanence of all things; the color of the sāla flowers reveals the truth that the prosperous must decline. The proud do not endure, they are like a dream on a spring night; the mighty fall at last, they are as dust before the wind. -- Chapter 1.1 of The Tale of Heike, Helen Craig McCullough's translation |
