A little ray of light..

Ok you think might this is slightly sad, but im very very proud right now, my son Jared..wrote a poem..about making a difference in the world and it got entered into Young Writers' The Big Green Poetry Machine competition !!
Every year they have in excess of 25,000 poems from all over the UK and overseas..so the fact he got picked to get his poem published is totally awesome...so allow me to be proud mother for 5 mins and let me share his poem with you all.

ps.he came 2nd overall in Staffordshire, as it was divided into regions

War

The gun is no fun, it weighs a ton
The bullets setting off roaring bulls
Now it attacks a hopeless heavy body
Now there is a hopeless body dying in the misty fog.
Suddenly there in the distance, Germany joins in on the war.
My death is a send from a German bend ; my body is now no more.
Do it for John Lennon, do it for the love, that symbol of peace
It's our in hands dont waste it.
