Disable South Cross

As a knight I currently use south cross and ripost level 4. I was using blunt 15, and piercing 15. I use slashing tree on 15 for disable limb, but if NGD were to disable south cross; I would switch black to blunt on 15. Anyways, there are many ways to counteract south cross. ok please tell me what can i do to counter it?ive been trying to figure it out for months now and still no good solution...if the barb evades some spells im dead meat...
