If anything, weaken it slightly, give another high dmg skill, because sc is barely enough.

I played my knight from lvl 20~ to lvl 42 without useing SC, I recently swapped max blunt for 15 slash and to push peirce from 15 to 17 because I found that SC/Disable limb are often more use than the blunt spells (mostly I wanted disable limb) SC is nice I can often hit around 700 with it vs a similar lvled palyer (with 2 wep buffs)

But SC is in no way a warriors only offence, most players use 2-3 wepons, Blunt has many good effects, and peirce has a good effect-dmg mix. Ripost to point out the clear one is another stong warrior spell.

If as a barb you cant get near a ranged class, then your doing something wrong.
