Question for the wiki. Confuse and Darkness

We are working on game mechanics, and it came to me the question about if the effects of Darkness and Confuse are the same.

"Cannot be affected by positive powers"

"Can only use offensive powers"

Are these the same? What spells can be used in one and not the other.

EDIT: Just noted that darkness wont allow others to affect the target with buffs, while someone confused can be buffed.

Still, I'd like to know if they forfeit the same powers.
