When i started playing and started lvling in the wz u had NO chance to reach an archer as a warrior. They could shoot while running and ran faster backwards than we ran forwards. And that was the case for a LONG time.
I started hating Thanus and Mantis at that time. They killed u in a breeze and you had no chance to fight back.

after a while things changed. they changed the shoot-while-run thing and more important the spring skill was same for both classes!
Now a warrior was actually able to reach the archer and maybe kill him.
at least we were able to fight back.

well, after the last big spell/balance update things changed more towards archers again.
besides all the penalties for warriors, spring lasts 5 secs longer now for archers.
So we are back at a point where u have to rely on mistakes archers make.
Highly skilled archers like Thanus does not make mistakes, at least no big ones. So i can barely kill him.
I would guess in a 1on1 he will win 8 or 9 times out of 10

and thats not what i call balance.

a fight at equal lvl/skill should be 50/50. a low lvl should only kill a high lvl with LUCK and not by design.
